Auro Laboratories Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report
as of Jul 2026
- Forward integration into tablet formulations - A formulation unit with annual capacity of 750 million tablets is being built, supported by a proposed supply arrangement with a European customer and partly funded by a ₹12 crore term loan from HDFC Bank maturing in 2035. Moving from bulk API to finished tablets captures a larger share of the value chain and locks in downstream demand for the company's own Metformin output.
- EU and Swiss GMP certifications unlock regulated markets - EDQM issued an Attestation of Inspection confirming EU-GMP compliance for the Metformin Hydrochloride CEP dossier on 5 May 2026, and Swissmedic issued a GMP certificate under the EU-Switzerland Mutual Recognition Agreement on the same date. These certifications keep the company's main product qualified for sale into Europe, its largest export market, without regulatory interruption.
- WHO-GMP renewal secures tender eligibility - A WHO-GMP certificate was received from the Maharashtra FDA on 12 November 2025, valid through 30 September 2028. The certification preserves access to institutional procurement tenders in developing markets that require WHO prequalification.
- Margin recovery as utilisation ramps - EBITDA margin, which compressed to 20.52% in FY2025 during the shutdown year, recovered to approximately 31% in the first nine months of FY2026 as production restarted. As the expanded capacity fills, the operating leverage inherent in a single-plant API business should allow a disproportionate share of incremental revenue to drop to the bottom line.
- Anti-diabetic portfolio broadening - Management states that additional products are under development within the anti-diabetic therapeutic segment, complementing the existing Metformin and Chlorzoxazone range. Adding molecules within the same therapy area can be sold through existing customer relationships and regulatory filings, lowering the cost and time to revenue for each new launch.
