Belding India Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report
as of Jul 2026
- Data centre EPC entry via DC&T acquisition - Belding acquired 100% of DC&T Global Private Limited (net worth ₹439 cr) on 24 December 2025 through a share swap allotting 1.36 cr equity shares at ₹769.16 per share, valuing the deal at ₹1,046.7 cr. This transforms a dormant ₹2,056 cr market-cap shell into an operating data-centre EPC and technology-infrastructure business with in-house design, construction, and managed-services capabilities.
- Modular datacentre manufacturing plant - DC&T is setting up a manufacturing and assembly plant for Modular/EDGE containerised datacentre solutions alongside hardware products including storage racks, power distribution units, and AI-enabled devices. Bringing fabrication in-house removes the main procurement bottleneck for DC&T's EPC contracts and adds a product revenue stream with higher asset turnover than pure project work.
- Battery energy storage JV with HD Fabcon - Belding incorporated Belding HD India Private Limited on 23 June 2026, holding 55% with HD Fabcon holding 45%, to pursue Battery Energy Storage System and Renewable Energy projects. The structure pairs Belding's execution and manufacturing capabilities with a partner's market access, creating a second growth vertical alongside data centres without upfront acquisition cost.
- Defence and digital infrastructure subsidiary - Synthiko Foils Limited incorporated wholly owned DC&T Defence Limited on 7 February 2026 to target turnkey energy, digital, and infrastructure solutions for defence, government, and public-sector clients. A dedicated subsidiary with defence-sector objects positions the group to bid for tenders that require an Indian entity with a specific charter, opening a procurement channel that was previously inaccessible.
- 55% stake in Metafin Technology - DC&T Global acquired a 55% controlling interest in Metafin Technology Private Limited on 5 March 2026 for ₹1.49 cr in cash, gaining a manufacturer of airport self-check-in kiosks, IT racks, telecom tower racks, and insulated fire doors. The bolt-on adds immediate product lines that slot into DC&T's data-centre and infrastructure EPC scope, with Metafin's ₹0.94-1.40 cr turnover base available for scaling through group project flow.
- Borrowing headroom to ₹1,500 cr - The AGM notice includes a special resolution to raise the borrowing limit under Section 180(1)(c) to ₹1,500 cr and to create charges on assets up to the same amount. With only ₹9.6 cr of debt currently on the books, the resolution pre-positions the balance sheet to fund working capital and capex for the newly acquired EPC and manufacturing operations without needing repeated shareholder approvals.
