Bhagwati Autocast Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report

as of Jul 2026

  1. Solar captive power - 9 MWp fully operational - Two ground-mounted solar plants of 4,500 kWp each at Bamroli and Balodhar (Gujarat) are commissioned and running, with the second starting in August 2024. Together they supply nearly 50% of the company's total power consumption, directly lifting operating margins by replacing grid electricity with a lower, fixed-cost captive source.
  2. Capacity fully utilised - 15-20% revenue growth guided for FY26 - Installed capacity of 18,000 MT is fully utilised, with production rising to 14,953 MT in FY25 from 13,939 MT, and management expects 15-20% growth in FY26. With no major capex planned beyond the solar plants, incremental volume flows almost entirely to the bottom line.
  3. Tractor cycle tailwind - The company's castings feed tractor and automobile OEMs, and management sees the optimistic tractor-industry outlook lifting component demand. As a pure domestic Tier-1 supplier running at full capacity, a sustained agricultural upcycle directly tightens its pricing power and order-book visibility.
  4. Operating leverage from energy and process efficiency - Energy-conservation measures - energy-efficient motors, LED lighting, furnace cold-start optimisation, and a plant-wide power factor of 0.999 - are already in place. With solar now covering half the power load, every additional tonne of output carries a structurally lower energy cost, compounding the margin benefit of volume growth.
  5. Earnings momentum - nine-month PAT nearly triples YoY - For the nine months to December 2025, net profit reached ₹989 lakhs against ₹342 lakhs a year earlier, and the board recommended a dividend of ₹2.50 per share for FY25. The sharp profit jump on modest revenue growth confirms that the solar and efficiency levers are already converting into cash flow.
