Calcom Vision Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report
as of Aug 2026
- PLI Large Investment upgrade - DPIIT elevated Calcom to the ₹25 crore Large Investment category, with the full investment completed ahead of schedule; the company is eligible to claim ₹6 crore for FY25-26, versus ₹2.4 crore under the old slab. The upgrade lifts total scheme incentives from ₹8.76 crore to ₹15.96 crore, tied to ₹150 crore incremental sales by FY26-27.
- Goldmedal LED manufacturing contract - On 10 March 2026, Calcom signed a regular-supply agreement to make LED lighting for Goldmedal Electricals at its Greater Noida plant, with the first order already executed. At steady state, the contract adds an estimated ₹20-25 crore annual revenue - roughly 10% of trailing revenue - distributed through Goldmedal's 21+ city network.
- JP Minda LED supply order - Calcom received a ₹3 crore initial order from JP Minda Group for regular LED supply, with the first order executed and supplies expected to grow. This opens a second large-brand OEM relationship beyond the consumer lighting names, adding a new revenue stream at current margins.
- Calcom Astra export subsidiary - Incorporated January 2025 and launched July 2025, the export-focused subsidiary targets US and European markets with BLDC fans, EV charging, and IoT devices, led by a dedicated export head. It is participating in international expos to build a footprint; even modest traction would diversify revenue beyond the domestic ODM base, where FY25 forex earnings were just ₹22.32 lacs.
- Outdoor lighting portfolio - Calcom developed a complete range of street lights and completed designs for a full trade range including floodlights, high bays, and well glass, establishing a dedicated production area and planning to launch outdoor lighting starting in Q3 FY25. This opens the government and infrastructure procurement channel, a larger market than the consumer segment, with pressure die casting and powder coating facilities planned to support it.
- BLDC fan JV with Taehwa - The Calcom Taehwa Techno JV, founded March 2023 with Korea's Taehwa Enterprise, completed driver development for sensor and sensor-less BLDC fan variants, with FY25 sales of ₹61.73 lacs. The JV positions Calcom in the fast-growing energy-efficient fan market, with the export subsidiary also targeting BLDC fans for the US.
- Capacity expansion - Calcom added 50,000 sq. ft. of factory space in FY25, commissioned three new SMT lines (total eleven), and set up an in-house plastic extrusion plant with 10 extruders for backward integration. Capex of ₹23.80 crore in FY25 was funded partly by a ₹9 crore preferential warrant issue approved November 2025, expanding capacity ahead of the Goldmedal and JP Minda volumes.
- Solar lighting scale-up - Calcom developed All-in-One Solar Street Lights, Solar Pole-Top, Wall, and Garden Lights, with the first order received and FY26 priorities calling for scaling this business. Solar street lighting taps the government and rural electrification demand, a new end-market where the company already has approved prototypes and customer leads.
