GTV Engineering Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report
as of Jul 2026
- Acquisition of Chirchind Hydro Power - entry into power generation - On 4 June 2026, GTV completed the share-swap acquisition of a 35.31% stake in Chirchind Hydro Power (CHPPL), taking its total holding to 51% and making CHPPL a subsidiary. This adds a small-hydro power-generation business with FY25 turnover of ₹32.60 cr, creating a second earnings stream outside the core fabrication cycle.
- JK CM / Knauf / Sagar / UTCL mill static parts order - A Letter of Intent worth ₹17.46 cr (ex-tax) was received on 29 August 2025 for manufacture and supply of four mill static parts, with delivery over seven months. At roughly 17% of FY26 total income of ₹103.33 cr, a single order of this size can materially lift near-term revenue if executed on schedule.
- NTPC foundation-parts orders - On 5 August 2025, the company won two domestic orders totalling ₹3.64 cr (ex-tax) for gear-unit foundation parts for the NTPC Nabinagar and Gadarwara projects, to be delivered over 17 months. These orders deepen GTV’s relationship with the power sector, where management sees high growth potential from capacity expansion and modernisation.
- Heavy-fabrication order-book and sector tailwinds - Management states the company has “huge and sufficient orders” and sees encouraging opportunities from cement, thermal and hydro power, supported by India’s industrial capex cycle. A full order book in a rising demand environment provides revenue visibility for the core fabrication division, which delivered the bulk of FY25 sales.
- Move into site erection and commissioning - The company is exploring site erection and commissioning services for the same EPC customers it already supplies with fabricated components. Adding higher-value downstream services to the existing order book can increase revenue per contract without requiring a step-change in fabrication capacity.
