Lakshmi Electrical Control Systems Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report

as of Jul 2026

  1. LMW assured offtake up to ₹450 cr - The company has secured omnibus approval for transactions with Lakshmi Machine Works of up to ₹450 crore for the period from this AGM until the next AGM in 2027, with a financial year-wise break-up of ₹275 crore for FY27 and ₹175 crore for FY28, and LMW already sourcing over 95% of its control panels from LECS on an assured long-term basis. This locks in revenue visibility at roughly 1.4x the Electricals segment's FY26 turnover of ₹203 crore, directly converting a captive anchor relationship into near-term booked growth.
  2. Electricals riding grid and data-centre capex - Investments in power generation, renewables, BESS, and data centres are creating strong demand for electrical equipment and control panels, and the Electricals segment already grew turnover from ₹186 crore in FY25 to ₹203 crore in FY26. The capex cycle is broadening the addressable market beyond the LMW anchor, adding a second demand leg to the company's largest segment.
  3. Plastics segment scaling with in-house tooling - The Plastics segment grew turnover from ₹26.8 crore in FY25 to ₹35.9 crore in FY26 and has completed in-house development of a new leak testing machine for the breather component. Bringing testing in-house removes a process bottleneck and raises the segment's ability to win higher-value work without relying on external validation.
  4. Export revenue at ₹23.6 cr - Foreign exchange earned through exports reached ₹2,363.53 lakhs in FY26. Exports now contribute meaningful diversification beyond domestic OEM cycles, with the number itself implying a base that can compound if customer qualifications expand.
