Mach Travel Solutions is fundamentally a corporate events organiser that spent two decades learning how to move large groups of people - and is now turning that logistics skill into a broader travel company. It began in 2004 as a MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) specialist, went public in 2024, and rebranded to Mach Travel Solutions in 2026 to reflect an expansion beyond events into corporate travel management, government pilgrimage contracts, and a consumer travel platform. The recurring approach is to win a corporate client for one service - typically a large MICE event - and then cross-sell everything else, from annual employee travel bookings to leisure holidays for the same employees.
Business segments
Four engines at different stages - a two-decade MICE cash cow, two fast-growing institutional and corporate travel verticals, and a consumer platform under construction - each built on the relationships and operational muscle of the one before.
1. MICE: the bread-and-butter events engine
It organises large corporate gatherings on a turnkey basis - from concept to execution - for banks, insurers, and manufacturers, with no fixed margin formula and a bid-to-win model.
- End-to-end event builder - the company handles everything from venue selection, agenda creation, and speaker coordination to ticketing, visas, hotel bookings, and on-ground logistics, so a corporate client hands over one brief and gets a finished event.
- Bid-driven, not price-list-driven - it gets empanelled with corporates, receives RFQs, and wins by being the lowest bidder while offering a better concept than competitors; margins vary case-by-case, with domestic work generally more profitable than international.
- Scale through repeat clients - in FY26 it ran 273 programmes for 81 unique corporate clients, moving 80,000 passengers at an average of over 300 people per event, with the BFSI sector as its core clientele.
- Global reach from a domestic base - it has executed events in over 25 countries, with top destinations ranging from Bali and Dubai to Prague, Vienna, and Argentina, supported by strong relationships with airlines and hotels that improve negotiation terms.
- Pipeline built on trust - it was awarded "best MICE organiser" in 2018 and "best MICE company" in 2023, and enters FY27 with confirmed orders worth roughly ₹57 crore across Oceania, New Zealand, and domestic movements, covering over 3,000 delegates.
2. Corporate Travel Management: the annual-contract engine
It handles the day-to-day travel of organisations under multi-year agreements - flights, hotels, approvals, and reporting - through a hybrid of a self-booking tool and dedicated account managers.
- Relationship revenue, not project revenue - unlike the one-off MICE business, this vertical locks in corporate clients for their ongoing travel needs throughout the year, with revenue building progressively over the contract period.
- Technology as the hook - the company offers a Corporate Self-Booking Tool with multi-level approval workflows, travel policy controls, and spend analytics, giving finance and HR teams visibility they did not have before.
- Fast ramp-up - launched as a dedicated vertical only in April 2026, it had already onboarded over 50 corporate accounts by mid-June 2026, spanning manufacturing, chemicals, financial services, media, technology, healthcare, and education.
- Built with outside talent - the company hired experienced industry professionals to build this vertical rather than relying solely on its MICE team, recognising it is a different skill set.
3. Government & Institutional Projects: the large-scale mandate engine
It manages multi-location logistics for government pilgrimage and delegation programmes - moving tens of thousands of people on fixed-scope, fixed-fee contracts.
- One landmark contract defines the scale - the company is executing a Punjab government pilgrimage programme for roughly 1,85,000 pilgrims travelling from Mohali to the Golden Temple in Amritsar, covering logistics, accommodation, transport, and food across a 2-night/3-day itinerary, with a total consideration of approximately ₹92 crore.
- Empanelment opens a funnel - it is now an IRCTC-approved service provider under Category "A" tourist packages, which lets it bid for backend travel services across IRCTC’s entire portfolio of rail tours, charter trains, and holiday packages.
- A family-led build - the vertical was established with involvement from Mr. Adit Bhatia, a member of the promoter group and son of the Chairman, who was appointed as an Executive Director in May 2026 specifically to drive this segment.
- Institutional reach beyond government - it also won a work order from the National Film Development Corporation (Ministry of Information & Broadcasting) to provide hospitality and travel management for 1,000-1,200 participants, showing the vertical serves quasi-government bodies too.
4. Travel & Tourism: the consumer-platform bet
It is building a full-service online travel agency - flights, hotels, cruises, spiritual tours, and visas - designed to convert its existing base of roughly one lakh annual corporate travellers into retail customers.
- Captive audience, not cold acquisition - the B2C strategy is to migrate the roughly 100,000 customers who already travel with the company each year, plus a database built over 20 years, onto its own app and portal by offering them special deals, rather than spending heavily on marketing.
- OTA under construction - the centrepiece is MachTravel.com, a retail travel platform covering flights, hotels, cruises, and visas, backed by IATA accreditation and GDS integration so it can manage air inventory directly and keep more margin.
- Spiritual tourism as a beachhead - Mach Conferences & Events Limited launched a dedicated religious tourism department, ran a pilot B2C package to the Maha Kumbh Mela, and now sells helicopter-based Do Dham and Char Dham Yatra packages with VIP Darshan and premium hotel stays, targeting seniors and busy professionals.
- Cruises as a differentiator - appointment as a distributor for Cordelia Cruises lets it sell cruise itineraries to both retail customers and corporate clients looking for incentive travel, creating a product most online travel agencies in India do not offer.
- Infrastructure to match ambition - the company moved to a 13,000 sq ft office with 250-275 seats on a nine-year lease, and expanded its workforce roughly five-fold to over 360 employees, largely to support the OTA build-out.
Group structure and partners
A listed SME with one wholly-owned subsidiary, a controlling stake in a medical-events specialist, and accreditation from nearly every major travel trade body - giving it both buying power and credibility.
- Listed entity with acquisition firepower - Mach Travel Solutions trades on the BSE SME Platform, and in 2025 it acquired a 60% stake in Travexel Events and Travel, a company that organises medical conferences, which the management says carries higher profitability than standard MICE work.
- Wholly-owned subsidiary - Mach Conventions and Voyages Private Limited sits underneath the parent, though its specific role is not detailed in the filings.
- Trade-body membership as a moat - the company is accredited by PATA, IATO, ADTOI, IATA, SKAL International, OTOAI, JATA, ICPB, EGAC, and NIMA, giving it access to industry rates, networks, and credibility that a smaller unaffiliated operator would lack.
- Key distribution and technology partners - it is a distributor for Cordelia Cruises, collaborated with travel-tech firm TBO to build its corporate travel desk, and is empanelled with IRCTC for government tourism packages.
- Family-led governance - the board includes founder Mr. Amit Bhatia as Chairman and Managing Director, his wife Mrs. Laveena Bhatia as Whole-time Director, their son Mr. Adit Bhatia as Executive Director driving government projects, and Mr. Amit Bhatia’s father, a retired Indian Army Colonel, as a Non-Executive Director.
