Metroglobal Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report
as of Jul 2026
- Chemicals trading scale-up - Management is investing in logistics, process optimisation and technology to streamline the supply chain and reduce trading costs, while India’s chemicals domestic consumption is projected to grow at a 9-10% CAGR until 2040. On a ₹236 cr revenue base where trading delivers the bulk of segment profit, even modest share gains in a market heading toward $850 bn-$1 tn can materially lift volumes and operating leverage.
- Real estate monetisation in Gujarat - Projects spanning 200,000 sq m across industrial estates, commercial buildings, residential complexes and shopping malls in Ahmedabad, Chattral and Ankleshwar are under execution through SPVs. As these projects move from development to sales, the currently negligible real-estate segment revenue (₹0.60-0.70 cr) can step up meaningfully against a ₹19 cr group EBITDA base.
- Promoter holding consolidation - The amalgamation of three promoter entities into Maiden Tradefin Private Limited was completed on 12 December 2025, vesting the combined 64.73% stake in a single merged entity. A unified holding structure removes cross-holding complexity and can speed up decision-making on capital allocation and new ventures.
- Portfolio expansion in commodities - The company continuously adds to its commodity portfolio to enhance client ease, choice and convenience, supported by a strong cash surplus that allows bulk procurement at competitive prices. Broader product coverage on the same distribution network can lift wallet share without a proportionate rise in fixed costs.
- Recovery of legacy dues - ₹10.40 cr was recovered from the Mundara Estate Developers resolution plan, and a ₹1.11 cr settlement from Sumaya Flexi Pack is being collected in monthly instalments. These recoveries flow directly to the bottom line and strengthen the already debt-light balance sheet (D/E 0.01) for redeployment into higher-return trading or real-estate opportunities.
