Pharmaids Pharmaceuticals Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report

as of Aug 2026

  1. CRDMO flagship build-out - Management is rebuilding the company as an end-to-end CRDMO across pharma, biopharma, agro-chemicals and medical devices, targeting a global opportunity estimated at US$500 billion where Indian firms hold \~2%. With revenue at just ₹25 crore and EBITDA at −₹8.9 crore, even a fraction of that market would transform the earnings base.
  2. Adita Bio Sys GLP certification - Adita received A2LA accreditation for medical-device biological testing under U.S. FDA GLP regulations, valid until February 2028. This certification lets the subsidiary bill large Indian and international customers for regulated preclinical work - the first concrete, revenue-ready capability in the new CRDMO stack.
  3. 80 institutional customers added - The group built relationships with about 80 institutional customers during FY 2025-26, including 25 international ones, with forex earnings of ₹58.97 lakh versus nil the prior year. A customer base of this size, secured in the first year of the transition, gives the CRDMO build-out a demand foundation to scale services into.
  4. Anugraha disinvestment completed - Pharmaids exited its entire 66.5% stake in Anugraha Chemicals on September 18, 2025, for an overall settlement value of ₹10.24 crore. The exit removes a business that contributed 68.9% of consolidated revenue but was outside the CRDMO focus, freeing management and capital for the higher-margin services build-out.
  5. Land sale proceeds - The company sold three land parcels in Tumkur for ₹19.36 crore, completed September 6, 2025. Against a market cap of ₹117 crore, this cash injection funds the CRDMO infrastructure build-out without diluting equity.
  6. New promoter control - Dr. Shankarappa Nagaraja Vinaya Babu and Tumkur Trade Center took control with a 32.04% combined holding post-open offer, with date of acquisition August 25, 2025. A new controlling shareholder with a stated CRDMO strategy provides the capital and direction to execute the transition.
