Qualitek Labs Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report

as of Jul 2026

  1. Nine-lab ramp to ₹120 crore - Nine labs added in the last 18 months carry an annual revenue potential of ₹120 crore to be generated over the next 2-3 years, yet contributed only ₹8.9 crore in H1 FY26 while running at an EBITDA loss of ₹3.3 crore. As these labs move toward the 32% EBITDA margin that established labs already deliver on ₹45.3 crore of H1 revenue, the operating leverage flows directly to consolidated earnings.
  2. USFDA pharma lab in Bengaluru - The acquisition of a USFDA-approved pharma lab in Bengaluru is underway and expected to be commercial by June 2026, adding Pharmaceuticals and Cosmetics testing for USFDA and EU regulatory markets. This opens the high-barrier export-pharma testing market and extends the pharma segment-already 15-20% of revenue-into South India, where the company had no pharma presence.
  3. IOCL Panipat refinery contract - Wholly owned subsidiary Interstellar Testing Centre was awarded a 3-year contract by Indian Oil Corporation for operation and maintenance of the QC lab at Panipat Refinery, with an approximate value of ₹10.19 crore. The contract converts a government outsourcing relationship into a multi-year recurring revenue stream and validates the Lab Process Outsourcing model the company is scaling through its LabOps Global SPV.
  4. LabOps Global SPV and PPP pipeline - A 74%-owned SPV, LabOps Global Private Limited, was established in May 2025 to set up, operate, and maintain in-house testing labs for government institutions, adding to an existing PPP footprint that includes the Baddi drug-testing lab and three labs for Gujarat State Electricity Board. The SPV structure separates asset-light government contracts from the owned-lab balance sheet, targeting a recurring-revenue stream that management calls “Less Capex-More Opex.”
  5. EMI/EMC facility and defence orders - An EMI/EMC facility is being set up in Pune as a strategic FY26-27 initiative, backed by a 2025 international collaboration with ITC-Japan, while the Noida lab has already secured the single highest EMI/EMC test order for the defence segment. Defence EMI/EMC testing is a specialised, high-value capability that deepens the moat in the Transport, Defence and Mechanical segment, which contributes 40-45% of consolidated revenue.
  6. Hyderabad food-lab acquisition - A strategic acquisition in the Food segment at Hyderabad is in advanced stages and expected to complete by June 2026, following the 2025 Mumbai food-lab acquisition at a value of ₹8.82 crore. Hyderabad fills the South India gap in the Food and Feed segment-already 25-30% of revenue-and extends the pan-India network that management is building through both greenfield labs and buyouts.
  7. ₹63 crore capex plan for FY27 - The company has outlined a ₹63 crore capex programme for FY26-27, following ₹51.3 crore invested in FY25-26, with board-approved credit facilities from HDFC Bank aggregating ₹91.31 crore and a ₹65 crore NCD issuance approved on a private-placement basis. The funded capex pipeline supports the simultaneous ramp of new labs, the EMI/EMC facility, and the Barwala land acquisition, putting the physical infrastructure in place for the guided revenue trajectory.
