Rajesh Power Services Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report
as of Jul 2026
- Group revenue growth target - Management targets 40% revenue growth in FY27 and a \~40% CAGR over the next 3-4 years, with EBITDA margins held at 11-12%. At the guided pace, revenue doubles in roughly two years on an asset-light model that requires little incremental capital.
- Order book and bid pipeline - Unexecuted order book stood at ₹3,326 crore as of 31 March 2026, bids already submitted total ₹2,200 crore with results expected by end of May, and a further ₹3,500 crore pipeline is in progress. The company targets FY27 order inflow of ₹4,000-5,000 crore and a closing order book above ₹5,000 crore, which at a historical \~40% win rate provides line-of-sight to the revenue guidance.
- Distribution network orders in Gujarat - Turnkey contracts worth over ₹2,600 crore are under execution for underground cabling and MVCC across Gujarat distribution circles, including ₹922 crore from UGVCL and ₹1,116 crore secured in FY25. These multi-year orders lock in the largest segment (71% of the order book) and carry price-escalation clauses that protect margins.
- 400 kV GIS entry - The company entered the 400 kV gas-insulated substation segment in H1 FY26 with landmark orders of ₹278 crore, and the Bhogat project is expected to commission around September-October 2026. This opens access to Power Grid and interstate transmission projects, a materially larger addressable market than the company’s traditional substation work.
- Geographic expansion outside Gujarat - Entry into Odisha via a ₹212 crore OPTCL order (June 2026) and a Rajasthan order book now at ₹200-250 crore are shifting the mix toward the targeted 80:20 Gujarat-to-outside-Gujarat split. Management sees near-term transmission opportunities of ₹1,500-2,000 crore in Rajasthan and ₹1,500 crore in Odisha alone, with action on the outside-Gujarat order book expected in the next 8-10 months.
- BESS - first utility-scale storage project - A 12-year BESPA was signed with GUVNL in March 2026 for a 65 MW / 130 MWh standalone battery storage project at Virpore, Gujarat, to be commissioned by September 2027. The project generates annuity-style revenue of \~₹14-15 crore per year and establishes credentials for a BESS EPC pipeline that management estimates at \~₹10,000 crore across PSU tenders.
- Railway electrification and JV - A JV with VITS Total Power Solutions (51% RPSL stake) is executing a ₹45 crore traction substation order from East Central Railway, and the Lalgarh traction substation project at Bikaner in Rajasthan was commissioned in FY26. Railway electrification adds a new end-market with tendering already underway, diversifying revenue beyond state distribution utilities.
- HKRP Innovations - smart-grid associate - The 25.48% stake in HKRP Innovations, which closed its last financial year at \~₹170 crore revenue with 18-20% PAT margins and an order book of ₹350-400 crore, is expected to grow at double digits in the current year. As distribution utilities modernise, HKRP’s SCADA and IoT platform provides a capital-light earnings stream adjacent to RPSL’s core EPC business.
