Supertech EV is an electric-vehicle maker born from a proprietorship - it took over the running business of ‘Supertech Inc’ in March 2023 and listed on the BSE-SME platform two years later. Its entire approach rests on a single idea: make affordable electric two- and three-wheelers, sell them through a dense network of over 500 distributors, and keep the model range tight enough that every vehicle shares the same manufacturing backbone. That is why the company reports only one business segment - everything it does flows through one engine.
Business segments
A single engine - electric two- and three-wheeler manufacturing - supported by a nationwide distributor network that puts the vehicles on the road.
1. Electric two- and three-wheelers: the company’s only product engine
Supertech EV makes four electric models across two body styles - scooters for personal use, rickshaws and loaders for commercial work - and sells them all through the same manufacturing and distribution system.
- Four models, two jobs - the Zapster and Tiger are electric scooters aimed at personal mobility, while the Pilot is a passenger three-wheeler and the Load King is an electric loader for commercial use, so the company covers both individual buyers and small fleet operators from one product family.
- Four factories feed one pipeline - manufacturing runs out of three units in Haryana (Bahadurgarh and Rohad in Jhajjar district) and a fourth in Harapanahalli, Karnataka, which started production in February 2026 and added capacity for 12,000 two-wheelers and 1,200 three-wheelers a year. Every plant makes the same four models, so a new facility simply multiplies output rather than adding complexity.
- No R&D spend, no energy-conservation steps - the company has not incurred any expenditure on research and development and has taken no steps for the conservation of energy or technology absorption, which means it competes on manufacturing and distribution execution rather than on proprietary technology.
- A concentrated supply chain - the company depends on a limited number of key suppliers for critical raw materials and is exploring ways to diversify, so a disruption at any one supplier or a spike in component costs would flow straight into production.
- One segment on the books - the company is engaged in a single business segment as per Accounting Standard 17 on Segment Reporting, confirming that everything it sells is managed as one integrated operation.
2. The distribution network: how the vehicles reach buyers
More than 500 B2B distributors spread across India move every scooter and rickshaw from the factory gate to the end customer, with a related-party trading firm sitting at the centre of the flow.
- National reach through 500-plus distributors - the company operates a business-to-business distribution network of more than 500 distributors strategically situated across India, giving it a physical sales footprint that can place vehicles in small towns and cities without the company having to own retail outlets.
- A related party handles the bulk of sales - the company sells complete e-scooters to M/s. Supertech Auto Agency, a partnership firm where two of the company’s directors are partners, and that firm then trades the scooters onward in the market. In FY 2024-25, sales to Supertech Auto Agency amounted to roughly ₹84.4 million worth of complete e-scooters, making it the dominant channel.
- The relationship runs both ways - the company also buys e-scooter CKD (completely knocked-down) parts and e-rickshaws from Supertech Auto Agency, so the trading firm acts as both a customer and a supplier, blurring the line between manufacturing and distribution.
Group structure and partners
Supertech EV is a standalone company with no subsidiaries or joint ventures, controlled by a tight promoter group and served by a single related-party trading firm that doubles as its main sales channel.
- No group, just the company - the company has no subsidiaries, joint ventures, or associate companies, so all operations, assets and liabilities sit on one balance sheet with no structural complexity.
- The promoter circle - the board has six directors split evenly between three executive directors (Yetender Sharma as Managing Director, Jitender Kumar Sharma as Chairman and Whole-Time Director, and Geetanjali Sharma as Whole-Time Director) and three independent directors, with a company secretary and a CFO rounding out the key management.
- The trading arm is family-run - M/s. Supertech Auto Agency, the partnership firm that buys and sells the company’s scooters, is owned by Yetender Sharma and Geetanjali Sharma, the same two executive directors who run Supertech EV.
- Listed, with a fresh capital base - the company listed on the BSE-SME platform on 2 July 2025 after an IPO of up to ₹30 crore, and during FY 2024-25 it issued bonus shares in a 1:1 ratio and a small preferential allotment, bringing paid-up equity to roughly ₹9.1 crore across 91.09 lakh shares.
