Vadilal Enterprises Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report

as of Jul 2026

  1. ₹1,500 crore revenue target by 2026 - Management states the company is “steadily moving towards achieving our target of ₹1,500 crore in revenue by 2026,” with FY25 revenue at ₹1,119 crore, up 12% year-on-year. Hitting this target implies a \~34% top-line jump from FY25, which would sharply lift earnings on an operating cost base that is largely fixed in the near term.
  2. Capex-led capacity expansion - Gross additions to plant and machinery rose to ₹43.20 crore in FY25 from ₹33.93 crore in FY24, and capital contracts remaining to be executed stood at ₹31.07 crore as of March 2025. The step-up in capex, partly funded by a fresh ₹30 crore term loan from IndusInd Bank, directly expands production capacity to serve the targeted revenue growth.
  3. Credit rating upgrade - India Ratings upgraded the company’s long-term borrowing facility to ‘A-/Stable’ from ‘BBB+/Stable’ in April 2025. A higher rating lowers the cost of debt for the ongoing capex programme, improving interest coverage which stood at a thin 1.31x.
  4. Family settlement unlocks governance - The NCLAT disposed of appeals on 13 May 2025, setting aside earlier NCLT orders and giving effect to a family arrangement that requires unanimous consent for share transfers, capital structure changes, and brand decisions. Removing the overhang of promoter litigation allows management to focus on execution and clears the path for future equity funding via rights or preferential issues.
  5. Distribution push into Tier 2/3 cities and rural markets - The company is driving sales promotion initiatives for deeper penetration into smaller cities and villages. Widening the distribution footprint beyond urban centres expands the addressable market for the core ice-cream portfolio, where revenue per segment already shows double-digit margins.
