- Nashik R&D centre - The ₹50 cr R&D centre (part of a ₹123 cr capex plan) is expected to become functional in the next quarter, with first-phase capacity planned to triple. It accelerates new products beyond Serratiopeptidase and supports industrial enzyme applications, addressing the pipeline bottleneck.

The \~₹50 cr expansion planned for FY28-29 removes the main capacity constraint as utilisation approaches 80%.
- EFSA and US FDA approvals - Two EFSA food enzyme dossiers and three US FDA GRAS dossiers were filed in FY26; 13 of 17 EFSA dossiers have positive opinions. - SciTech effervescent expansion - Specialized Manufacturing revenue hit ₹20.1 cr in Q1 FY27, up 41% YoY, at 11% of total revenue. The 51% subsidiary is exploring disinfectants, cosmetics and textile washing applications, with FY26 revenue up 23% to ₹66.8 cr.

- US branding strategy - Management expects 8-10% US growth as branding most products makes the business sticky. US subsidiary AEU earned ₹78.4 cr PAT on ₹212.2 cr revenue in FY26, and US margins run higher than India's due to customised formulation.
- Probiotics portfolio expansion - Probiotics revenue reached ₹21.6 cr in FY26, with the approach shifting from commodity products to solutions. New launches target immunity, gut health and animal feed, in an Indian market projected to grow at 17% CAGR to 2034.
