3. Civil construction and infrastructure entry - Shareholders approved an expanded objects clause on 30 September 2023, allowing the company to act as civil construction and infrastructure contractors. This opens a project-based revenue pool far larger than the legacy LED manufacturing business, with the legal foundation already in place.
4. Borrowing headroom up to ₹1,000 crore - A special resolution authorises creating charges for borrowings up to ₹1,000 crore or the aggregate of paid-up capital and free reserves, whichever is higher. The enlarged borrowing capacity removes a funding constraint for the infrastructure pivot and the battery plant, should orders materialise.

Inter-corporate financial support to group entities - A special resolution permits loans, guarantees, or financial assistance to subsidiaries, associates, and group entities for capex and working capital. This allows the company to seed growth in related entities without diluting its own operating focus, potentially creating value that flows back to the parent.
6. Export market development - The company is exploring export opportunities and has a business plan to expand its product line, including research in the lithium-ion battery segment for international markets. Exports reduce dependence on the domestic cycle and can lift realisations if the battery plant achieves scale.
