AGI Greenpac Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report

as of Jul 2026

  1. Container glass de-bottlenecking - The de-bottlenecking project is fully commissioned, lifting capacity to 1,900 tonnes per day ahead of the March 2026 timeline at a cost of roughly ₹50 crore. This adds immediate, low-cost volume in a plant already running at 95% utilisation, feeding revenue without waiting for a new furnace.
  2. Greenfield container glass plant (500 TPD) - A 500-tonne-per-day greenfield plant in Madhya Pradesh is under construction with land acquired and major equipment contracts being finalised, targeting commissioning by March 2027. Management expects the 25% capacity addition to drive 15-17% revenue growth in FY27-28 purely from the new output.
  3. Entry into aluminium beverage cans - Phase 1 of a new aluminium can plant in Uttar Pradesh is moving through equipment procurement for 950 million cans of annual capacity, with commissioning targeted for the first half of 2027. At steady state, management projects a 17-19% EBITDA margin and roughly ₹1,250 crore of turnover at full Phase 1+2 capacity, adding a second large earnings stream alongside glass.
  4. Value-added mix shift - Demand continues to be steady from high margin segments such as pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and premium beverages. A richer mix raises the structural margin floor of the glass business, which already operates in a 24-25% EBITDA band.
  5. Export scale-up via UAE subsidiary - Exports are 5-7% of the top line, with a stated aspiration to reach 10-15% overall and up to 40% for specialty glass, supported by a new UAE marketing subsidiary incorporated in October 2024. Moving specialty glass exports from the current 10-11% toward the 15-20% near-term target would lift blended realisations and diversify the customer base.
  6. Retail and end-to-end OEM service - The company is launching an OEM model to supply filled products directly to brand owners, initially through outsourced manufacturing, with two wholly-owned retail subsidiaries already incorporated. By cutting out the contract manufacturer, the initiative can capture a larger share of the end-customer value chain using the company's own glass as the input.
