Aksh Optifibre Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report
as of Aug 2026
- Emitra market-share push - AKSH holds 12.46% of Rajasthan's Emitra transactions across 8,935 kiosks in all 41 districts, and targets 15% share in both kiosks and transactions this year. At India's forecast 17.93% e-governance CAGR, each share point adds transaction-fee revenue on an already-operating network.
- FTTH last-mile buildout - AKSH is executing FTTH projects with BSNL and Railtel in Rajasthan, reaching an 18,000-customer base, and plans to expand to other parts of India. With India's broadband market growing 15.8% annually to 2030, the existing BSNL/Railtel contracts give it a running start on a recurring subscriber base.
- PM Surya Ghar solar integration - AKSH is working as a System Integrator for the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojna, a ₹75,021-crore program covering 1 crore households with rooftop solar. Even a small share of that budget converts into project revenue in a segment where the company already has deployment expertise.
- Smart metering software - AKSH has developed application software for prepaid and postpaid smart water metering, plus a dashboard integrating smart lighting, parking, solar inverters, and level sensors. India's smart-home market is forecast to grow 30% annually to 2030, and the software is ready to sell without new capex.
- Mauritius OFC exports - The company's OFC manufacturing unit in Mauritius serves the Africa market, where demand is rising for 5G fibre networks, submarine cables, and data-center connectivity. That plant gives AKSH tariff-free access to African telecom buildouts without competing for domestic orders.
- Plant efficiency upgrades - The OF & OFC plant replaced a 25 HP RO pump with a 4 HP unit from RIICO Water Supply and installed a high-speed auto-traversing take-up and new cable dryer, cutting power cost and raising cable output. Lower per-metre cost on existing capacity directly widens manufacturing margins, which swung from -23.39% to -14.67% in the latest reported segment trend.
