- Annual financial performance: Ambuja delivered record annual sales volume of 73.7 million tonnes (up 16%), normalized EBITDA of ₹6,539 crore (up 31%), and PAT of ₹2,647 crore (up 17%) while remaining debt-free. Premium products accounted for 35% of total trade sales during the year.
- Capacity and consolidation: Total cement capacity reached 109 million tonnes following 10.7 million tonnes of new grinding capacity additions, with expectations to reach nearly 119 million tonnes by the end of FY27. Mergers with Sanghi Industries and Penna Cement are complete, while integrations with ACC and Orient Cement are currently under process.
- Q4 FY26 performance: Quarterly sales volume grew 10% year-on-year to a record 19.9 million tonnes, generating revenue of ₹10,915 crore and operating EBITDA of ₹1,464 crore (₹735 per tonne). Capacity utilization rose sequentially to 77%, and the board recommended a dividend of ₹2 per share.
- Demand and expansion outlook: Near-term cement demand is expected to remain soft due to inflationary pressure and a weak monsoon, despite strong long-term infrastructure fundamentals. Management is recalibrating expansion plans to prioritize optimal utilization of existing and acquired assets over rapid nameplate capacity additions.
