Barflex Polyfilms Ltd Business Overview - SOIC x StockScans Report

as of Jul 2026

Barflex Polyfilms is a B2B packaging partner that turns plastic resins into the printed pouches, labels, and bulk bags sitting on India’s retail shelves - the company behind the pack, not the brand on it. Founded in 2005 by a packaging-industry veteran who had already run a listed company, it spent nearly two decades as a private operation before listing on the NSE’s SME platform in early 2024. The recurring approach is to own the full production chain - design, extrusion, printing, lamination, and finishing - under one roof, so that large FMCG and food customers get faster turnaround and consistent quality without having to coordinate multiple suppliers.

Business segments

A single core engine - flexible packaging - now extended by three bolt-on ventures at different stages of maturity, each designed to capture adjacent demand from the same customer base.

1. Flexible packaging: the integrated factory that fills India’s pouches

Barflex makes the multi-layer films, printed laminates, and ready-to-fill pouches that FMCG, food, and pharma companies use to package everything from shampoo to frozen snacks - all from one plant that handles the entire process.

2. Labels: a capital-light joint venture selling short-run, high-value work

Through a 51%-owned JV that started production in May 2025, Barflex has entered the label business - a less commoditized, higher-margin segment where speed and service win orders.

3. Barflex Flexibles: a greenfield plant anchored by a captive customer

A 60%-owned joint venture in Alwar, Rajasthan, is building a second flexible-packaging factory whose economics are de-risked from day one because the JV partner - a large edible-oil group - will consume nearly half the output itself.

4. Rohit Poly Foams: a small acquisition adding foam to the portfolio

Barflex is acquiring a Jaipur-based maker of polyurethane and polyethylene foam products, bringing a complementary material capability into the group for a cash consideration of ₹2.8 crores.

Group structure and partners

Barflex operates through a listed holding company and three subsidiaries or joint ventures, with the founding family retaining a two-thirds stake.
