- Revenue growth guidance: Borosil has maintained its medium-term revenue CAGR guidance of 15% to 20%, supported by strong demand across three product categories and the expected resolution of BIS-related supply bottlenecks for Hydra steel bottles by Q2.
- Margin outlook: Short-term profitability is pressured by higher LPG and diesel costs stemming from the West Asia crisis, but implemented price increases will take one to two quarters to fully reflect, keeping the long-term margin target of approaching 20% intact.
- Furnace operations: After LPG shortages forced furnaces on standby during Q4, full gas supplies resumed in April, returning furnaces to full output without stressing working capital or inventory levels.
- Capacity expansion plans: The new Bharuch glassware facility is slated to begin production in Q4 of this financial year, helping raise the share of domestic manufacturing from 65%–70% to 85%–90% in two years and roughly 95% by FY28.
- Chinese dumping headwinds: Management highlighted substantial below-cost dumping from China in the glassware segment, noting that government intervention to create a level playing field is needed to accelerate domestic demand and capacity additions.
