- Yield expansion outlook: Capri Global expects gold loan yields to expand by 40 to 50 basis points by September and portfolio-wide yields to rise by 75 to 100 basis points by March. This expansion is expected to positively impact profitability as current AUM grows from ₹17,000 crore to ₹23,000–₹25,000 crore.
- Gold loan LTV: The average gold loan LTV stands comfortably at 63% to 64% against the regulatory cap of 75%. Even during defaults, full recovery is achievable through auctions once LTV reaches 80% to 85% including overdue interest.
- Portfolio asset quality: Portfolios across housing finance, MSME, and micro-LAP remain 100% collateralized, with stress monitored via predictive machine learning models and managed by a 550-member ground collection team.
- FY27 growth trajectory: Management is confident of meeting or slightly exceeding its guided trajectory of approximately 25% growth and an AUM of around ₹40,000 crore by the end of FY27.
- Spread improvement strategy: Spreads are expected to expand without reduction pressure as the proportion of high-yielding gold loans rises from 46% to 50%, aided by better pricing on small ticket-size loans.
