- Revenue growth: Revenue rose 31% year on year, with management attributing growth to itinerary development and the reduction in overseas-sailing TCS from 20% to 2%. Capacity had not yet expanded; the second vessel was expected to contribute from 23 October, 2024.
- Pricing strategy: The average ticket price is approximately ₹11,000, and the company has no current intention to raise prices materially; management said gradual increases of 2-4-5% over time may continue. The same-category room pricing on Cordelia Sky is to match Empress.
- Premium cabins: Sky has roughly 260 premium cabins among 1,000 rooms, compared with 69 among Empress’s 796 rooms; a further ship’s cabin mix includes 450 premium cabins. Management expects the richer mix to lift average revenue without changing itinerary pricing.
- Compensation gain: The 21-day charter payment from NCL was $5.2 million, roughly ₹50 crore, and management said it was straight net profit because NCL bore all costs. It appears as an exceptional item in the accounts, but management said Sky’s actual revenue would begin from 23 October and the gain would not affect future quarters.
