Ducol Organics & Colours Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report

as of Jul 2026

  1. Xchem Polymers acquisition - Ducol acquired a 50.67% majority stake in Xchem Polymers on 22 May 2026 for ₹38 cr cash, with the balance ₹37 cr to be settled via share swap within two years to reach 100%. Xchem adds ₹60 cr of revenue (FY25) and ₹5.86 cr of PAT (9M FY26) to a company with a ₹14.2 cr EBITDA base, creating a combined waterproofing and construction chemicals vertical alongside Bitumag.
  2. Bitumag Industries integration and ramp-up - Bitumag, acquired in April 2025 for ₹39.7 cr, doubled capacity to 10 Mn sq.m per annum post-acquisition and delivered ₹52.1 cr revenue in FY26 with utilisation at 30-35%. Management targets 50%+ utilisation, and every additional percentage point of capacity used flows through at high incremental margins given the fixed-cost base already in place.
  3. Qualibit partnership - Southeast Asia export channel - Ducol signed an MoU with Malaysia-based Qualibit Chemicals on 2 March 2026, allocating up to 20% of Bitumag's 10 Mn sq.m capacity for distribution across ASEAN markets with product qualification already completed. The partnership opens a ready export channel requiring no additional capex, directly lifting utilisation at Bitumag from current levels.
  4. Mahad M2 facility - wet dispersion commercialisation - The M2 building at Mahad received its completion certificate in September 2025 and is earmarked for high-value wet dispersion production, with commercial output expected in H2 FY27. Wet dispersions serve paints, coatings, and construction chemicals - segments where Ducol is simultaneously building downstream demand through its acquisitions.
  5. Pigment dispersion capacity expansion to 45,000 MTPA - Management's medium-term plan targets total capacity of 45,000 MTPA across wet dispersions (8,000-10,000), dry dispersions (20,000-25,000), and master batches (8,000-10,000), up from current levels of roughly 21,000-22,000 MTPA. The Taloja Unit II upgrade is already underway, and the expanded base positions Ducol to capture demand recovery without adding new facility overhead.
  6. Inorganic growth pipeline in construction chemicals - Ducol's board approved a ₹24 cr preferential allotment in December 2024 to pursue acquisitions in companies with turnover up to ₹150-200 cr, and management confirms it is actively evaluating further opportunities beyond Bitumag and Xchem. The construction chemicals market is ₹15,000-20,000 cr growing at 13-15% annually, and each bolt-on acquisition adds revenue scale and cross-selling potential to the existing platform.
