Elantas Beck India Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report
as of Jul 2026
- Ankleshwar capacity expansion - The board approved a ₹56 cr expansion of manufacturing capacity at the Ankleshwar plant in June 2026, subject to regulatory approvals. This adds to the existing capacity and directly relieves the most immediate bottleneck to volume growth.
- Von Roll India localisation - Manufacturing of 22 new products acquired from Von Roll India has commenced at the Pimpri plant, with technology transfer and integration now complete. The acquired HV resin and tapes technology broadens the product offering in the Electrical Insulation business, which is the company's largest segment at \~80% of revenue.
- Imported technology pipeline - Four technologies imported in 2025 from ELANTAS division affiliates are targeted for absorption by 2026, covering VOC-free unsaturated polyester resin, high-voltage epoxy impregnating resin, and thixotropic epoxy resin for HV wind generators. These expand the addressable range in high-value impregnation applications just as power-transmission investment accelerates.
- E-mobility and BESS product development - New potting products and thermal interface materials for battery systems have been developed, and a global R&D project for high-thermal-conductivity adhesive in BESS is under absorption with a 2027 target. These position the company to supply into the two fastest-growing segments of the electrical value chain - electric vehicles and grid-scale battery storage.
- Solvent recovery plant doubling - A project scheduled for 2026 will double solvent recovery capacity to support increased wire enamel production. Higher in-house solvent recovery lowers input costs and reduces environmental exposure as volumes scale.
- Greenfield site at Bharuch - The company is obtaining government approvals for a new manufacturing facility at Taluka Vagra, Bharuch, Gujarat, intended to realign and expand operations for future growth. A second site in a well-established chemical corridor provides the land bank for capacity beyond what the current Ankleshwar expansion can accommodate.
- CTC segment scaling - Manufacturing agility allowed the company to scale Continuous Transposed Conductor capabilities within three months to meet a surge in demand. Rapid response to CTC demand demonstrates the ability to capture high-growth niches within the power-transmission supply chain without waiting for new capacity.
- Electronics business platform qualification - The EC business is leveraging centralised product qualification at global customer platforms to accelerate market access in automotive and consumer electronics. Centralised qualification shortens the sales cycle for the \~16% of revenue that comes from the higher-margin Electronic & Engineering Materials segment.
