- Growth and disbursement targets: Overall business grew 25% year-on-year in Q1, with deposits rising 18%, assets expanding 27%, and disbursements increasing 9%. The bank aims to maintain steady-state loan growth of 20% to 25% while matching growth with profitability.
- Unsecured portfolio reduction: The bank plans to reduce its unsecured microfinance loan share from 38% to 30–35% over the medium term. It is transitioning graduating microfinance customers into MSME loans and newly launched affordable housing products.
- Secured lending expansion: Secured advances currently exceed 62% of the book, with a medium-term target of approximately 70%, supported by a mortgage book growing at nearly 45% year-on-year. Gold loans are currently offered across 700 branches and will be expanded to all 821 branches.
- Net interest margins: Management expects to maintain a net interest margin (NIM) of 7% to 7.5%. Lower credit costs and reduced operating expenses from the growing secured book are expected to sustain these margin levels.
