Green Asia Impex Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report

as of Sep 2026

  1. Seafood capacity expansion - A new 16,200 MTPA processing facility in Chinnayagudem is funded with ₹49.54 crore from offer proceeds for completion in June 2027, though equipment purchase orders and several permits remain pending. It expands total seafood processing capacity by 150% to 27,000 MTPA to service a customer demand pipeline running at 2x to 3x existing capacity.
  2. Ready-to-Cook value addition - The upcoming Chinnayagudem facility dedicates 39 MTPD, about 68% of new capacity, to automated Individual Quick Frozen and Ready-to-Cook shrimp lines. Moving into prepared formats accesses higher industry processing margins of 5% to 15%, compared to sub-3% sourcing margins, supporting a ₹220 crore segment target by FY30.
  3. Dried chilli processing - Export sales from the leased Guntur sorting and grading unit grew 100.40% to ₹49.48 crore in FY25, though eight customers accounted for all H1 FY26 chilli revenue. Chilli processing provides a seasonal hedge against the shrimp off-season between October and April, balancing working capital and asset use year-round.
  4. Geographic export diversification - The company is expanding seafood and chilli shipments into Europe, the US, and South Korea to diversify beyond China, which generated 44.16% of shrimp and 99.64% of chilli revenue in H1 FY26. Broadening destination channels reduces single-country concentration and cushions margins against trade tariff disruptions.
