HMA Agro Industries Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report
as of Aug 2026
- USD 1 bn revenue target - Management targets USD 1 billion revenue by FY27 and was "very close" as of Jun 2025, with a stated vision of ₹10,000 crore for FY27. TTM revenue growth of 42.6% against a 55-60% utilized 4-lakh-tonne capacity base shows the volume headroom to close the gap.
- Malaysia PKPS partnership - Signed a strategic MoU and JV with PKPS, a Selangor state government entity, in the presence of the Chief Minister, for frozen boneless buffalo meat supply across Malaysia and ASEAN. Malaysia is already one of the largest buyers of the company's product, and a subsidiary received Malaysian authority approval enabling capacity utilisation and timely order fulfilment.
- Jabalpur chicken plant - The poultry processing plant at Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, owned by subsidiary HMA Natural Foods, is expected to be completed by end of FY26, with capex of around ₹10 crore funded internally or via bank debt. This adds a second protein line - chicken - to the existing buffalo meat core, opening a new domestic and export revenue stream.
- Malaysia and Indonesia share gains - Management targets 20-25% share of supply to Indonesia and Malaysia, with FY26 plans described as "more aggressive" in both markets. These are two of the top five international markets, and deeper penetration on existing capacity directly lifts volume and margin.
- Rice business ₹100 crore target - The company is on track to achieve ₹100 crore revenue from rice in FY27, with repeat orders and steady growth. Though still a small contributor, this diversifies revenue beyond meat into a higher-margin packaged agri product under the HMA Gold brand.
- Philippines market re-entry - Secured regulatory approval to supply products in the Philippines in FY25, a market that had been closed for 3-4 years pending client approval. The Philippines currently buys only a few selected products, and the company is working to educate customers to buy more varieties.
- Cuba export approval - Received official approval to export products to Cuba, adding a new geography to the 40+ country export base. New market access on existing capacity requires no incremental capex and directly supports volume growth.
- Credit facility enhancement - CARE reaffirmed ratings at CARE A- (Stable)/A2+ after bank facilities were enhanced from ₹931 crore to ₹1,231 crore, including a ₹100 crore EPC increase from SBI and ₹110 crore from Yes Bank. The expanded working capital line funds higher export volumes without equity dilution, supporting the revenue growth trajectory.
