HP Adhesives Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report

as of Jul 2026

  1. New-product scale-up - New products (MS Polymer Sealants, Epoxy Putty, Spray Paints, Cyanoacrylates) contributed ₹940 Lakhs in FY25, or 3.6% of revenue, in their first full year. These categories carry higher margins than the legacy solvent-cement business and, at a ₹249 cr revenue base, even a doubling of this line adds a meaningful lift to consolidated profitability.
  2. Distribution-network deepening - The distributor network reached over 1,575 distributors serving 100,000+ dealers across 27 states, with new depots opened in Kanpur and Patna during FY25. A wider physical footprint directly raises the fill-rate and reorder velocity for the new, higher-margin product categories that are still building retail availability.
  3. Manufacturing automation and solar savings - The company is integrating automation and digital technologies across manufacturing and packaging, and installed solar panels at Unit II during FY25 to reduce the energy footprint. Lower variable cost per unit flows through to gross margin, which matters acutely when OPM has compressed to 5.25% at the annual level.
  4. IPO capex fully deployed - The full ₹2,550.86 Lakhs of IPO capex proceeds were utilised by Q4 FY26, completing the capacity-addition programme that was originally targeted for Q4 FY24. With the capex cycle closed, incremental volume from the expanded plant can convert to revenue without further drain on the balance sheet.
  5. Exports and private-label pipeline - Exports reached 18 countries in FY25 with year-on-year turnover growth, and management is actively exploring private-label engagements with reputed organisations in specific geographies. Private-label contracts tend to be lumpy and recurring once onboarded, offering a second volume channel outside the domestic brand business.
  6. Unitybond subsidiary contribution - The wholly owned subsidiary Unitybond Solutions, incorporated in April 2024, delivered a turnover of ₹414.87 Lakhs and a profit after tax of ₹40.33 Lakhs in its first partial year. A profitable subsidiary from inception adds a clean earnings stream that can be scaled independently of the parent’s legacy cost structure.
