- Geographic exposure: Four parks in Khopoli and Lonavala account for 62% of revenue. Management said its expansion into other locations has reduced reliance on one geography, and monsoon performance—particularly in August, September—was better than expected.
- Financial pressure: FY26 revenue was ₹374 crore, down from ₹410 crore in FY25; footfall was 10% below FY25 and average revenue per visitor declined as the mix shifted away from Mumbai-Pune. FY26 profit after tax was ₹1 crore.
- Pricing and spend: Management said Q1 focused on attracting footfall, with ticket prices increased by around 8 to 10 odd percent at most parks for Q3; Q4 will prioritize footfall, with pricing increases again in Q1 relative to last Q1. Non-ticketing is currently a 64-36 split with ticketing, and the company aims to raise it to 40 to 45 odd percent over the next 5 odd years; management said non-ticketing margins are better.
- Park growth: Management sees stronger growth potential in younger parks such as Indore, Surat and Mehsana. Shanku’s is expected to draw 2.5 to 3 lakh people and generate ₹30 odd crore in top line in the next financial year, with further growth from amusement and theme park rides.
- Returns and funding: Management put owned-park payback at 5 to 8 to 9 odd years, depending on size, scale and land arrangements. It said the ₹250 odd crore hotel-sale proceeds, cash flows from existing parks and EBITDA growth provide room to fund expansion, while it is comfortable with a 2 to 2.5x debt-to-EBITDA ratio.
