Interarch Building Solutions is a turnkey pre-engineered steel building company - it designs, manufactures, and erects entire steel structures under one roof, on one fixed date, for one lump-sum price, replacing the fragmented traditional method where no single party was accountable for cost or schedule. Founded in Delhi in 1983 and listed in 2024, the company has spent over four decades evolving from a metal-interiors pioneer into India’s second-largest integrated PEB player by installed capacity, with a 6.5% market share. The approach that explains everything else is its “Power of One” philosophy - every building is treated as a critical capital good, not a commodity, and the company takes end-to-end responsibility so the client gets exactly the structure promised, with no deviations. # Business segments A single integrated engine - turnkey pre-engineered steel buildings - with two emerging extensions: a heavy-structures capability under construction and an export channel being built through international partnerships. ## 1. Pre-engineered steel buildings: the factory-built structure that replaces site chaos **Interarch sells complete steel buildings as a single product, not a collection of steel pieces - every component is made in its own plants from raw materials and delivered to site as a ready-to-bolt kit, with one company accountable for price, quality, and the completion date.** - **One throat to choke** - in traditional construction, a consultant designs, a contractor bids on tonnage, and the contractor buys standard steel sections to cut, weld, drill, and paint in open site conditions; Interarch’s turnkey model gives the client a single lump-sum contract covering design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, and erection, so there is no finger-pointing when something goes wrong. - **Made in-plant, not on-site** - every structural element is manufactured from basic raw materials - hot-rolled plates become columns and beams, galvanized coils are roll-formed into secondary members - using automated machines under controlled factory conditions, which means faster delivery (up to 50% time savings versus conventional steel construction) and consistent quality that open-air site fabrication cannot match. - **Sequenced like a jigsaw** - the building is delivered in the exact order of erection, starting from one end; every nut, bolt, and clip must arrive in sequence because a single missing item stops the entire build, so the company’s real skill is not just manufacturing but the precision coordination of engineering, bill-of-quantities, procurement, and site logistics. - **Competes on trust, not price** - the company targets complex buildings (data centres, semiconductor plants, high-rise commercial structures) where only five or six players can compete, and customers choose Interarch because of its 25-26 year track record with nearly every major company and every building type across India; repeat orders were 72% of revenue in FY26, and three of the top five customer groups have stayed with the company for over five years. - **Capacity that keeps growing** - total installed capacity reached 201,000 tonnes per annum across five plants after a 40,000-tonne addition in September 2025, with two more plants under construction: a fully integrated PEB facility in Kheda, Gujarat (40,000 tonnes, near ports for exports, expected Q2 FY27) and a heavy-structure plant in Andhra Pradesh (Phase 1: 25,000 tonnes, \~Rs 100 crore investment, expected Q2 FY27). ## 2. Heavy steel structures: the bigger, heavier cousin for multi-storey and high-tech buildings **A dedicated manufacturing line being built for the heavier steel sections that data centres, semiconductor fabs, and multi-storey buildings demand - distinct from standard PEB and from the commodity fabrication that steel mills offer.** - **Not standard PEB, not commodity fabrication** - heavy structures use larger, heavier pieces than typical pre-engineered buildings, and unlike the commodity plants run by steel companies (where the client supplies the design and the fabricator just delivers ex-factory), Interarch’s heavy-structure offering will be bundled with its in-house design-engineering and project-management capabilities. - **Designed for the new-economy customer** - the plant is purpose-built for multistorey steel buildings, data centres, semiconductor plants, electronics factories, and battery plants, with machinery sourced mainly from Europe and India. - **Steel-mill partnership, not competition** - a strategic tie-up with Jindal Steel and Power (JSPL) lets Interarch leverage JSPL’s manufacturing facilities for heavier structures while contributing its own design, engineering, and project-management expertise, with joint work on awareness campaigns and regulatory advocacy for steel-intensive construction. ## 3. Exports and international partnerships: shipping Indian-made steel buildings abroad **A small but growing channel that takes the same design-manufacture-supply model and sells it to international markets, supported by partnerships that provide local market access and a planned joint venture for a North American product category.** - **From trickle to pipeline** - export orders grew from Rs 4.0 crores in the 2019-2022 period to Rs 40.2 crores in FY26, with orders split across Africa (48%), Canada (36%), and Myanmar (16%). - **A Canadian bridge into North America** - a strategic MoU with ER Steel Inc. of Canada pairs Interarch’s Indian engineering and manufacturing with ER Steel’s local market development, customer relationships, and execution support, with pricing agreed project-by-project rather than through a fixed financial arrangement. - **Joint venture for a product India doesn’t yet use** - a separate MoU with ER Steel envisages a collaboration to jointly explore and develop the Open Web Steel Joists (OWSJ) business for the North American market; Interarch would lead engineering, detailing, manufacturing and quality compliance from India, while ER Steel handles sales and marketing in North America. - **Design partner for global reach** - a collaboration with Mold-Tek Technologies gives Interarch access to engineering design and detailing services for export projects, plus the use of Mold-Tek’s Atlanta office address for international marketing; Interarch pays a 5% commission on export orders generated through the partnership, and both parties work exclusively with each other on introduced clients. # Group structure and partners **A single listed entity with no subsidiaries, building its international reach through non-equity partnerships and one proposed joint venture.** - Interarch Building Solutions Limited (formerly Interarch Building Products Limited, renamed March 2025) is the sole operating company, headquartered in Noida with a registered office in New Delhi; no subsidiaries are disclosed in the reviewed filings. - The proposed 50:50 joint venture with ER Steel Inc. for Open Web Steel Joists remains subject to feasibility studies and definitive agreements, with no financial consideration finalized; if it proceeds, it will be structured as a 100% export unit in India. - The broader ER Steel MoU and the Mold-Tek Technologies collaboration are both non-equity arrangements - one provides North American market access, the other provides design engineering and a US marketing address, with commissions or project-by-project pricing rather than fixed financial commitments. - The strategic partnership with Jindal Steel and Power (JSPL) is a cooperation agreement focused on promoting steel-intensive construction for multi-storeyed buildings, data centres, and heavy structures, combining Interarch’s design and project-management skills with JSPL’s manufacturing muscle. - Promoters are Mr. Arvind Nanda, Mr. Gautam Suri, Mr. Ishaan Suri, and Mr. Viraj Nanda; OIH Mauritius acquired approximately 13% stake in 2007.
