IST Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report
as of Jul 2026
- SEZ lease-up at Gurgaon Infospace - The wholly-owned subsidiary's SEZ revenue rose to ₹92.19 cr in FY26 from ₹89.54 cr in FY25, with segment PBIT climbing to ₹157.01 cr. Every additional leased square foot drops straight to the consolidated bottom line at a 170% PBIT margin on segment revenue, on an asset base that already holds ₹1,458.84 cr in total assets.
- Manufacturing segment margin recovery - Manufacturing revenue grew 33% to ₹33.97 cr in FY26 and segment PBIT reached ₹45.06 cr, a 133% margin on revenue. The Q4 FY26 revenue of ₹9.66 cr with a segment loss of ₹6.47 cr suggests a one-time charge; a return to the full-year run-rate restores a ₹45 cr annual PBIT contributor at the standalone level.
- Investment book compounding - Consolidated investments grew to ₹111.07 cr as of March 2025 from ₹97.14 cr a year earlier, and the SEZ subsidiary alone held ₹90.81 cr in investments. A ₹14 cr annual increase in the investment corpus, coupled with consolidated other income of ₹107.49 cr in FY25, provides a recurring non-operating earnings stream that already exceeds the entire manufacturing top line.
- Solar plant cost reduction at Dharuhera - A 550 KW solar plant was installed at the manufacturing facility during the year, cutting purchased electricity costs at a plant where standalone finance cost was only ₹69.10 lacs and depreciation ₹284.04 lacs in FY25. The savings accrue directly to standalone EBITDA with no additional operating expenditure.
- Promoter inter-se consolidation at ₹881 per share - Promoter entities acquired 2,30,000 shares (1.97% equity) at ₹881 per share in September 2025 via block deals, taking aggregate promoter holding to 74.98%. The transaction price - a significant premium to the prevailing market - signals promoter conviction in the intrinsic value of a group earning ₹139.93 cr consolidated PAT in FY25.
