Jay Jalaram Technologies Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report
as of Jul 2026
- Preferential issue fully deployed into expansion - The ₹32.22 crore raised via equity shares and warrants was fully utilised by 31 March 2026, with ₹6.60 crore directed to business growth and expansion. That capital has already funded the store rollout and product diversification now underway, removing the funding overhang for the current growth phase.
- Store network scaling past 180 stores - The company operated over 180 stores across 7 states as of 31 March 2025 and is opening additional stores in Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, New Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra in a phased manner. Each new store adds a revenue node in a model that has already taken group revenue from ₹542 crore to ₹852 crore in two years.
- New retail brand "TekEasy" approved - On 21 May 2026, the Board approved operating retail stores under a second brand, "TekEasy". A parallel brand creates a fresh store-opening pipeline without cannibalising the existing KORE and EROK footprints.
- Larger-format stores to lift per-square-foot revenue - The company is developing stores of 2,000 square feet and above to improve customer experience, supported by investment in store infrastructure and layout. Larger format space allows stocking of higher-ticket consumer durables - TVs, air conditioners, refrigerators - which carry better unit economics than mobile phones alone.
- Consumer durable electronics diversification - The product range now includes smart TVs, air conditioners, refrigerators, and coolers from brands such as TCL, Haier, Daikin, Voltas, Mi, and Realme. Management noted that expansion into mobile accessories and audio devices has already diversified revenue streams and enhanced profitability, and durables extend that same logic into higher invoice-value categories.
- Direct import licences secured - During FY25, the company obtained an Import Export Code and Legal Metrology registration as an importer of mobile phones, with establishment addresses in Haryana, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh. Direct sourcing can improve product margins by bypassing domestic distributors on imported smartphones and accessories.
- Mumbai commercial property acquisition for retail stores - On 21 May 2026, the Board approved purchase of four commercial shops in Mumbai for operating retail stores, alongside a residential flat for official accommodation, for an aggregate amount not exceeding ₹2 crore. Mumbai adds an eighth state to the network and places stores in India's largest consumer electronics market.
- Ahmedabad property secures headquarters and flagship presence - On 6 November 2025, the company executed a sale deed for an 8,250-square-foot commercial property in Usmanpura, Ahmedabad, for ₹10 crore, which also serves as the registered office. Owning a large-format flagship in its home market eliminates lease costs at that location and provides a permanent base for the expanding Gujarat network.
