Kothari Products Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report

as of Jul 2026

  1. Real estate acquisition of Sai Veeran Agencies - On March 25, 2025, the company acquired an 80% stake in real estate developer Sai Veeran Agencies Private Limited for ₹118.32 cr, adding investment properties of ₹34.65 cr and investments of ₹86.27 cr to the balance sheet. This acquisition roughly doubles the asset base of the real estate division, which already grew revenue 54% to ₹18.40 cr in FY25.
  2. Trading division revenue recovery - Trading division revenue rose 44% to ₹430.07 cr in FY25 from ₹298.61 cr in FY24, with segment profit before tax and interest surging to ₹53.44 cr from ₹11.52 cr. At this run-rate, trading alone generates profit that exceeds the company’s current market capitalisation of ₹402 cr.
  3. Subsidiary divestment unlocking value - The divestment of KPL Exports Ltd. on July 16, 2024 removed an investment of ₹105 cr from the books and management states the restructuring enhanced both top line and bottom line during the year. Exiting a loss-making international subsidiary frees management attention and capital for the now-profitable domestic trading focus.
  4. Bonus issue improving liquidity - A 1:1 bonus issue was completed in February 2025, doubling the paid-up equity share capital to ₹59.69 cr and increasing the free float. The higher share count and lower per-share price can widen the investor base and improve trading liquidity for the stock.
  5. Entry into manufacturing exploration - Management is exploring entry into the manufacturing sector to diversify businesses and mitigate future risks. A move into manufacturing would mark the company’s first operating asset play, potentially creating a third earnings stream beyond trading and real estate.
