KSS Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report

as of Jul 2026

  1. Resolution Plan approval - The NCLAT approved Micro Capitals Private Limited's Resolution Plan on 30 June 2026, setting aside the NCLT's earlier rejection, with consequential orders from the Adjudicating Authority expected within one month. This clears the path to exit CIRP, reconstitute the Board, and restructure the capital stack, removing the overhang that has paralysed operations since January 2023.
  2. Miniplex screen rollout - K Sera Sera Miniplex Limited has digitised over 120 locations across a targeted 527 districts and has begun building four-screen multiplexes where space permits, with the first 2K projector installed in Nagpur. Each new screen adds a recurring revenue stream from ticket sales and the in-house CINE CAFÉ, with the 2K format expected to deliver a step-up in per-screen revenue.
  3. Digital cinema network expansion - K Sera Sera Digital Cinema Limited operates 700 screens and has added over 100 screens in southern states after implementing a Mastering Unit and Digital Lab under an MOU with the Tamil Nadu Film Chamber. A larger screen count widens the base for content-mastering fees and equipment rentals, and the Hyderabad, Chennai, and Mumbai labs position the company to capture regional-language film volumes.
  4. Proprietary 2K server rollout - The company has progressed in developing its own server to deliver 2K DCP to theatres and expects to roll it out shortly, as an interim step toward DCI-approved technology for Hollywood releases. Replacing third-party servers with in-house units would lower the per-screen cost of digital deployment and create a potential licensing revenue line if sold to other exhibitors.
  5. Overseas content mastering - More than 1,000 screens overseas have already used the company's 2K Mastered KDMs, and management proposes expanding motion picture production, distribution, and television content activities into overseas markets. International mastering and distribution fees diversify revenue beyond a domestic market where the company's own exhibition footprint is still small.
  6. Bjewelz franchisee retail network - Birla Jewels Limited is focusing on launching 'Bjewelz' branded retail outlets through a franchisee model across multiple states, with plans to open company-owned stores later. A franchisee-first approach builds a distribution footprint with limited upfront capital, and the eventual addition of company-operated stores would capture full retail margins on gold jewellery sales.
