Lagnam Spintex Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report
as of Jul 2026
- 41,472-spindle compact-yarn expansion - The ₹218 Cr expansion was commissioned ahead of schedule in January 2024 and was running at full capacity by FY25, generating ₹321 Cr in revenue against a TEV-study estimate of ₹240 Cr. This project has already doubled capacity and is now contributing at a run-rate well above initial projections, directly lifting the revenue base.
- Export volume and market penetration - Export revenue rose 37% to ₹280 Cr in FY25, with volumes up 31% to 10,335 MT, and the company holds a Three Star Export House certificate valid through 2028. Exports now make up 46% of total revenue and are growing at a 44% CAGR since FY23, shifting the mix toward higher-value international markets.
- Value-added yarn portfolio - The company has introduced Compact Cotton Yarn targeting overseas buyers and lists specialty products including Eli Twist, Slub, Organic, and BCI-certified yarns. A broader range of differentiated yarns supports better realisations and deeper customer relationships in export markets.
- Rooftop solar capacity - The company has installed 5.2 MW of rooftop solar across all its units, fully utilising available space. Self-generated renewable power reduces the energy cost base for a spindle-heavy operation, directly supporting operating margins.
- USTERIZED quality certification - USTER Technologies renewed the company’s authorization to use the USTERIZED trademark, a distinction held by only about 70 mills globally, and Lagnam was the first in the world to earn it for standalone open-end spinning. The certification acts as a quality passport that lowers the barrier to entry with premium international buyers.
- New capex initiation in FY26 - Capital work in progress moved from zero in March 2025 to ₹1.80 Cr by September 2025, signalling fresh investment after a period of balance-sheet conservation. Even a modest restart of capex indicates management sees headroom to deploy capital for the next leg of growth.
