LMW Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report
as of Aug 2026
- TMD order book recovery - TMD's active order book stands at \~₹2,400 cr as of Q1 FY27, secured with 10% deposits, versus \~₹2,300 cr in Q4 FY26. At \~60% capacity utilisation, executing this book - roughly 1.2x FY26 TMD revenue of ₹1,801 cr - directly drives the division back toward profitability after FY26's thin ₹9.75 cr profit.
- MTD machining centre push - MTD is shifting mix toward higher-value vertical and horizontal machining centres, with the J-series drill-tap machines (J1/J2) already accepted by Foxconn's supplier ecosystem. The Indian market for this machine type is \~7,000-8,000 units annually at ₹25-30 lakh each, and MTD can grow output 15-20% at current capacity before needing further capex.
- ATC order book scale-up - ATC's order book reached \~₹1,000 cr in Q1 FY27, fully tied up for execution over 3-3.5 years, up from \~₹360 cr in Q4 FY26. This is nearly five times ATC's FY26 revenue of ₹207 cr, with metallics EBITDA already at \~19% and composite utilisation at \~50% offering headroom.
- ATC new facility - A \~₹150 cr land and building for ATC is under construction with an 18-24 month timeline, designed to scale beyond ₹300 cr revenue. Current capacity already accommodates \~₹300 cr turnover, so the new facility removes the physical constraint on ATC's growth past that level.
- LMW China turnaround - LMW China swung to breakeven in FY26 from a ₹6.8 cr loss, with turnover nearly doubling to ₹130 cr and an order book of ₹120 cr. The subsidiary is now self-sustaining and adds export revenue without further parent capital.
- LMW Global export platform - LMW Global (Dubai) grew FY26 turnover 26% to ₹184 cr, with an order book of ₹44 cr. It is the vehicle for rebuilding textile machinery exports toward the historical 23-25% of sales, from today's \~9-10%.
- New product cycle in TMD - The Lakshmi Winder completes the "Bale to Cone" offering, with initial customer feedback good and additional machine orders placed; orders are expected closer to the last quarter of this year. This gives LMW a full domestic alternative to imported European winders, expanding its addressable market within its \~70% Indian market share.
