Moving Media Entertainment is a camera-equipment outsourcing company - it buys the high-end cameras, lenses and accessories that film and television productions need, then rents them out as complete packages so that producers do not have to own the gear themselves. The business began in 2012 as a sole proprietorship founded by Kuuldeep Bhargava, was incorporated in 2022, and in 2024 acquired the original proprietorship’s entire running business before listing on the NSE Emerge platform in mid-2025. The recurring approach is an asset-heavy model - the company owns every piece of equipment outright rather than sub-renting from others, which gives it control over quality, availability and the speed with which it can adopt new camera technology.
Business segments
A single business - camera and lens equipment rental - delivered with in-house technical services and broadcast solutions that make the rental proposition complete.
1. Camera and lens rental: the equipment backbone of Indian production
The company owns a deep inventory of premium cameras, lenses and accessories and rents them as packages to production houses, broadcasters and digital creators - it makes money on the rental fee, not on the content.
- Owns everything, sub-rents nothing - unlike many competitors who borrow gear from other rental houses to fulfil orders, Moving Media owns 100% of its inventory, which means it keeps more of the rental fee, can deploy equipment faster, and can upgrade to new camera systems on its own schedule.
- A project-based model with growing reach - the business completed 516 projects in FY25, up from 203 two years earlier, with an average project lasting about 20 days and worth roughly ₹7.2 lakh; the client base nearly doubled over the same period from 70 to 147.
- Concentrated geography, diversified customers - nearly nine-tenths of revenue comes from Maharashtra, though the company serves more than 15 states including Delhi, West Bengal and Karnataka, and no single client accounts for more than 10% of revenue.
- Marquee names on the client list - Star India, Amazon, Viacom18, BBC Studios India, Endemol India and Sunshine Pictures are among the production houses that have rented its equipment, and key projects have included supplying 8K cameras and anamorphic lenses for a major OTT historical drama and super-motion cameras for a national sporting league.
- First-mover on flagship cameras - the company was the first in India to purchase Sony F-5 and F-55 cameras for the rental market, and in September 2025 it acquired the country’s first ARRI Super 35 Extreme Camera, a state-of-the-art digital cinematography system known for superior image quality and dynamic range.
2. Technical services and broadcast solutions: the people and systems that go with the gear
Renting the equipment is only half the story - the company also supplies the skilled technicians who operate it on set and the multi-camera systems that broadcast live events.
- Technicians travel with the kit - camera operators, lighting technicians, sound engineers and broadcast technicians are provided alongside the rental equipment so that productions get both the tools and the people who know how to use them.
- Digital imaging on set - Digital Imaging Technician (D.I.T.) services handle image capture management, data backup and colour management during the shoot, keeping the visual look consistent all the way from production to post-production.
- Live broadcast systems - for sports, television and live events, the company supplies multi-camera setups, video switchers and audio consoles, which is how it entered sports broadcasting with properties like the Pro Kabaddi League and the IPL.
- Concept to Commissioning - the service model runs from sourcing and installing hardware and software through to documentation, user training and ongoing support, so the production team gets a working system rather than just a pile of boxes.
