Munjal Auto Industries Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report

as of Jul 2026

  1. Indutch Composites revenue scale-up - Subsidiary ICTPL revenue from operations was ₹795 Crores in FY25, up from ₹559 Crores in FY24 and tenfold in six years, with PAT turning positive at ₹8.16 Cr against a loss of ₹2.14 Cr a year earlier. At roughly one-third of group revenue and now profitable, ICTPL is already large enough to move consolidated earnings meaningfully as it expands further.
  2. Honda long-term supply contract - A long-term supply contract was awarded by Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India on 11 May 2026 for sheet-metal stamping and welding parts, including tooling and die design. The contract adds a second large OEM customer alongside the existing Hero relationship, reducing customer concentration and raising standalone auto-component utilisation.
  3. Sanand plant ramp-up - The Sanand, Gujarat facility began operations in FY25, is running smoothly, and sits close to Tata Motors, with management noting a threefold increase in Tata business and "still a long way to go". Proximity-driven share gains at Tata can fill the plant and lift standalone revenue without proportionate fixed-cost additions.
  4. Consolidated capex stepping up - Consolidated gross block additions rose to ₹44.16 Cr in FY25 from ₹24.56 Cr in FY24, and CWIP nearly doubled to ₹18.14 Cr. The step-up in investment across both standalone and subsidiary operations signals capacity creation that can support the next leg of revenue growth.
  5. Electronics, railways and defence entry - The company is developing products for railways and defence within a new electronics diversification initiative. Success here would open order flows from government-backed, long-cycle programmes, adding a third earnings stream beyond auto components and wind composites.
  6. Indutch customer breadth in wind and aerospace - ICTPL already supplies wind majors Enercon, Vestas, Suzlon and GE, and is working with L&T, Godrej and Tata on defence and aerospace projects. A diversified blue-chip customer base across wind and strategic sectors provides multiple avenues for order-book growth as India's composite adoption accelerates.
