Nazara Technologies Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report

as of Aug 2026

  1. Bluetile/BestPlay full ownership - Nazara amended the deal to buy 100% of Bluetile and BestPlay for $303 million all-cash, with $89 million at closing and the rest by April 2027; consolidation starts Q2 FY27. Bluetile alone earned ₹254 crore EBITDA in CY25, so on a pro forma combined basis group EBITDA at least doubles.
  2. Founder-led preferential issue - Bluetile founder Raymond Stauffer and his team are collectively investing ₹733.5 crore at ₹306 per share, with Stauffer taking 4.67% of Nazara. The cash funds strategic acquisitions and AI-enabled game development, and aligns the new CEO's wealth with shareholders before he takes charge September 1, 2026.
  3. Fusebox title pipeline - Big Brother scales from one season last year to three in FY27, and The Traitors (global rights) launches in FY27; both have potential to match or beat Love Island, which ranked #1 in free apps and #5 in top-grossing in the US. Love Island alone drove Fusebox to ₹82 crore revenue in Q1 FY27, so each new hit adds a fresh earnings leg.
  4. Curve Games release slate - Sovereign Tower releases August 2026 and Dragon Shelter in September 2026, with more unannounced titles before year-end; Dragon Shelter already has \~130,000 Steam wishlists. New releases lift Curve's margin back toward the \~40% delivered last year, versus 27% in Q1 FY27 when investment was front-loaded.
  5. NODWIN 30% organic growth - NODWIN targets 30%+ organic growth in FY27, with Comic Con expanding from 11 to 14 Indian events plus international launches, and new monetisation deals signed with Kick and Garena. The associate swung from a ₹14 crore FY25 loss to ₹21 crore FY26 profit, and is progressing toward IPO readiness.
  6. Kiddopia IP integrations - Kiddopia expects more app launches in adjacent categories in FY27. 24-month LTV/CAC improved from 1.77 to 2.08, so higher user-acquisition spend is now profitable and revenue grew 19% YoY in Q1 FY27.
  7. Funky Monkeys store expansion - Funky Monkeys grew revenue 58% YoY and is adding one to two centers per month, targeting 100 centers in India over the next couple of years. Centers break even in under a year, and the \~₹50 crore capital commitment is already funded.
  8. SMAAASH 2.0 relaunch - The reimagined SMAAASH format launches at Lower Parel, Mumbai in Q4 FY27, with design and back-end technology work underway. A successful proof-of-concept opens a second offline growth leg after Funky Monkeys, with no further capital allocated until product-market fit is proven.
  9. Animal Jam Roblox launch - Animal Jam's first Mattel Monster High integration went live in April with quarterly updates planned, and a Roblox image appears in its growth initiatives. The IP refresh and new distribution channel build on FY26's 23% EBITDA growth and 25% margin.
  10. Datawrkz Vizibl scaling - Datawrkz is scaling its Vizibl DSP for mid-size businesses, hiring salespeople in the UK and Western markets, with product revenue growth detached from fixed costs. Vizibl's higher margins should lift Datawrkz's Q1 FY27 EBITDA of just ₹3 crore on ₹126 crore revenue, where pass-through revenue is 60-80% of the top line.
