- Debt reduction targets: Proceeds from the ₹600 crore QIP alongside expected insurance receipts are projected to reduce standalone debt from ₹650–₹750 crore down to ₹250–₹300 crore by year-end. This will lower the debt-to-EBITDA ratio to approximately 1 to 1.5x, strengthening the balance sheet for future expansions.
- Battery business outlook: Supported by an ongoing ₹1,800 crore investment, battery segment revenues are targeted to scale from ₹35 crore last year to ₹300 crore this year, with a revenue potential of ₹2,500–₹2,900 crore by FY29. Over the next 10 years, the company envisions a total investment opportunity of ₹10,000–₹15,000 crore to cater to India's expanding lithium-ion demand.
- Dahej plant commissioning: Trial production has started at the automated Dahej facility, which is nearing full commissioning to serve contract manufacturing clients across pharma, agrochemicals, and semiconductors. The facility is expected to enhance margins and accelerate growth over the next two years.
- Revenue growth guidance: Driven by strong performance in the first six months, the company may exceed its standalone revenue guidance of ₹1,050 crore for the year. At the consolidated level, Neogen Chemicals is targeting overall top-line growth of around 50%.
