OSEL Devices Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report

as of Jul 2026

  1. Group revenue and margin guidance - Management expects to maintain or better the \~57% growth rate achieved in FY26, implying a top line north of INR500 crores, with EBITDA margins similar or better, driven by the higher-margin retail hearing aid business. Mobile phones become the largest top-line contributor while hearing aids become the largest bottom-line contributor, shifting the earnings mix toward the company's highest-margin segment.
  2. JNPA SEZ manufacturing hub - OSEL's wholly owned subsidiary received a Letter of Intent from JNPA in April 2026 for a 5.01-acre Co-Developer plot at the JNPA SEZ, Navi Mumbai, with commercialisation expected from April 2027. The SEZ is export-oriented, duty-free, and targets "China plus one" LED customers, with management in talks with multiple Chinese manufacturers for tie-ups.
  3. Philips smartphone ramp - Smartphone shipments under the exclusive Philips license started in March 2026, adding to the 4.5 lakh+ feature phones already sold in FY26 at a monthly run-rate of 60,000-70,000+ units. Smartphones target the under-₹10,000 and under-₹20,000 price bands in a ₹2.17 lakh crore Indian market, with tablets expected to launch in December 2026.
  4. US FDA registration for hearing aids - OSEL's Greater Noida hearing aid facility was registered with the US FDA on 1 April 2026, enabling direct access to the world's largest hearing-aid market. Combined with the JNPA SEZ, this unlocks the US market and is expected to improve operating margins through superior pricing in regulated markets.
  5. Export scale-up to ₹50 crore - Total exports crossed ₹23 crore in FY26, including LED exports of \~₹10-12 crore to Vietnam and Singapore and hearing aid exports to the Middle East. Management expects to easily achieve ₹50 crore in export sales in FY27, more than doubling the export contribution.
  6. LED CMS SaaS platform - A proprietary hardware-agnostic content management system launched in FY26 generates recurring revenue of ₹700-800 per display per month, with 300+ locations already onboarded including a top national bank and LuLu Mall. Management targets 100,000 units in 2-3 years, which at current pricing would add a high-margin recurring revenue stream of \~₹84-96 crore annually.
  7. LED OEM supply expansion - OEM LED sales totalled \~₹30 crore in FY25, with audits for three additional brands completed and orders expected. The business benefits from a significant price advantage over brands like LG and Samsung and rising "Make in India" demand as importing from China becomes harder for government contracts.
