Oswal Agro Mills Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report
as of Jul 2026
- Chembur land monetisation via TDR/DRC - The company handed over 106,847 sq. mtrs. of reserved land to BMC in September 2024 and received a first-phase DRC for 106,374 sq. mtrs. in October 2024, with roughly 23 lakh sq. ft. of DRCs due in total. These certificates can be sold or used for development, converting a non-earning land parcel into a large liquid asset on a debt-free balance sheet.
- Trading scale-up - Revenue from trading jumped to Rs. 161.77 crore in FY25 from Rs. 1.87 crore in FY24, with segment profit before tax of Rs. 145.57 crore. This establishes trading as a material, high-margin earnings stream that can be deployed repeatedly using the company's liquid capital.
- Financial investments expansion - The company amended its MOA to authorise trading and arbitrage in shares, bonds, derivatives, and other financial instruments across Indian and foreign exchanges. This widens the investable universe beyond the existing investment book, allowing capital to chase higher-return opportunities as markets permit.
- Promoter shareholding increase - Oswal Greentech Limited acquired a 4.99% stake via open market purchase in August 2025, taking total promoter holding to 9.97%. The purchase signals conviction from the promoter group and tightens the public float, which can support valuation as earnings visibility improves.
