- Bed capacity expansion: Total bed capacity is projected to increase from 3,960 to 5,490 beds by FY28, with additions of 880 beds this year and 1,000 beds in FY28. Consolidated capital expenditure is expected to remain consistent at around ₹35 lakh per bed.
- Operating margin drivers: Margins are supported by 100% asset ownership across 17 hospitals, which yields an estimated 8% financial delta by eliminating rental and lease expenses. Additional operational efficiencies stem from hospital sizing of 300–350 beds and space-efficient configurations comprising 30% ICU and 40% general ward beds.
- Project break-even: New facilities reach break-even at 30% to 33% occupancy levels. Greenfield projects achieve this milestone within 12 to 15 months, whereas brownfield units break even in 4 to 6 months.
- Clinician cost strategy: Management avoids high-cost celebrity doctors, instead hiring skilled practitioners with 7–8 years of experience from premier government medical colleges to head units. This strategy keeps doctor expenses at 10%–15% of HR costs while patient footfall has expanded from 6 lakh to 9 lakh.
