Paushak Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report
as of Jul 2026
- Multi-purpose plant commissioning - The new ₹175 cr multi-purpose plant began phased commissioning in January 2026, with capacity to be added over the subsequent 12 months. At roughly 1.3x the company's current gross block, this plant replaces legacy facilities while adding throughput - the single largest step-change in Paushak's manufacturing base, funded and substantially complete.
- Shift to continuous processing - Higher-capacity continuous-process equipment has been installed to replace batch operations, with design work underway to convert additional processes. Continuous processing raises throughput and lowers per-unit energy cost, directly expanding effective capacity and lifting margins on the existing product slate.
- R&D complex build-out - Technical installations in the new R&D and administration building progressed during FY26, with R&D spend rising to ₹4.7 cr from ₹2.9 cr the prior year. A functioning in-house R&D complex lets Paushak develop new phosgene derivatives and custom-synthesis projects, opening revenue streams beyond its current portfolio.
- Utility infrastructure upgrade - The site migrated to 66 KV power, stabilised new boiler operations, and integrated VFDs and energy-management software. Reliable, lower-cost utilities reduce production downtime and variable cost, supporting margin stability as the new plant ramps up.
- Phosgene safety systems - A dedicated emergency scrubber system with UPS backup and automation was installed, alongside enhanced phosgene monitoring and handling technology. Strengthening the safety envelope around phosgene - the core chemistry - protects the licence to operate and supports customer audits that are often prerequisites for global contracts.
