PTC India Financial Services Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report
as of Aug 2026
- Core infrastructure financing rebuild - July 2026 sanctions exceeded ₹1,200 crore, a 13-quarter record, after Q1 FY27 disbursements of just ₹117 crore; management targets AUM of \~₹5,000 crore by March 2027, up from ₹2,946 crore loan assets at end-June 2026. The sanction pipeline is already translating into disbursements, and the guided 30-50% annual AUM growth would reverse three years of book shrinkage.
- Sanction-to-disbursement conversion - Of FY26's ₹3,448 crore sanctions (vs ₹825 crore in FY25), \~₹2,000 crore remained undisbursed, with \~₹1,500 crore expected within two quarters and the rest in the following two. These are signed project loans with 5-7 year tenors, so the earnings drag from the Q1 FY27 disbursement lull is temporary, not structural.
- Private-sector lending pivot - 100% of FY26 disbursements went to private corporate borrowers, and Q2 FY26 and Q3 FY26 were also 100% private-sector. Private borrowers carry higher yields than the PSU utilities that dominated the legacy book, so the mix shift lifts net interest margin even before book growth.
- Legacy NPA resolution - Danu Wind Parks - The single NPA account (₹187 crore of ₹190 crore gross Stage III) is pending NCLT admission expected in Q2 FY27, with resolution expected to realize ₹220-230 crore against \~₹188 crore principal. A write-back of the excess over carrying value plus release of the 75% provision coverage would flow straight to profit.
- Sectoral diversification - FY26 added data center connectivity, compressed biogas, and oil & gas to the book, with digital infrastructure at ₹236.55 crore of the portfolio as of Q1 FY27. These higher-yield segments lift portfolio yield as they scale, and the structured finance push adds fee income beyond plain vanilla project finance.
- Rating upgrade pathway - Management expects a rating upgrade once the book crosses ₹5,000-5,500 crore and fresh bank credit lines are secured; ICRA already changed the outlook to 'Stable' from 'Negative'. An upgrade cuts borrowing costs across the entire liability book and widens access to bond markets, compounding the cost-of-funds tailwind.
