Premco Global Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report
as of Aug 2026
- Umbergaon factory expansion - A new ₹28-crore factory at Umbergaon, funded by internal accruals and bank borrowing, is upgraded with imported looms and state-of-the-art facilities for global-standard products. This adds capacity at roughly 7× current EBITDA, giving the company room to grow revenue after three years of flat-to-declining sales.
- Vietnam full-capacity operations - PGVCL has completed its expansion and is consistently operating at full capacity, reporting ₹46.31 crore income and ₹7.9 crore PAT in FY25-26. At full utilization, this subsidiary alone generates more than double the parent's EBITDA, making it the single largest earnings driver.
- Europe and Bangladesh entry - Management targets maximizing capacity utilization in India and Vietnam by entering new markets like Europe and Bangladesh. This is a direct response to US tariff-driven lost business, and Europe/Bangladesh are large apparel hubs that can absorb the newly added Umbergaon capacity.
- Technical textiles vertical - The company is a member of the Technical Textiles Association and expects its venture into new technical textile products to reflect in ensuing results. India's technical textile market is projected to grow from US$29 billion in 2024 to US$45 billion by 2026, offering a fast-growing adjacent product line.
- Cost optimization programme - Machine upgrades and process improvements have reduced operating costs and wastages, with R&D focused on energy consumption reduction. With OPM at 4.54% in the latest annual period versus 14.19% two years ago, even modest cost savings can meaningfully lift EBITDA from the ₹3.80 crore base.
- Export house certification - The Single Star Export House certificate was renewed for 2023-27, easing operations with tax and banking officials. This supports the export push into Europe and Bangladesh, though forex earnings fell to ₹1,879 lakh in FY25-26 from ₹2,360 lakh in FY24-25, so the benefit is in enabling rather than expanding trade.
