Rategain Travel Technologies Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report
as of Aug 2026
- Sojern revenue synergies - Sojern (USD 172 mn CY24 revenue) closed in Nov 2025, with cost synergies delivered and the focus now on cross-selling RateGain's DaaS to Sojern's 13,000+ largely non-overlapping customers. Even a small uplift in Sojern's \~14% EBITDA margin toward the guided 19-20% adds meaningfully to the combined 459 cr EBITDA base.
- Debt paydown to net cash - USD 47.5 mn of the USD 125 mn acquisition loan is repaid (38%), with management targeting net debt-free by FY28. Finance costs of INR16.5 crores per quarter fall as principal is retired, lifting PAT directly.
- Agentic ARI and RateIQ rollout - Agentic ARI (launched Q4 FY26) cuts ARI traffic 30-40% for hotels, and RateIQ has shown 10-100% booking uplifts for chains, now in discussions with nearly a dozen customers. These AI-native distribution tools convert the 6.3%-of-revenue Distribution segment from a drag toward the guided double-digit FY27 growth.
- Demand Booster + Sojern unified selling - Demand Booster and Sojern's hospitality marketing are being sold as one solution from Q4 FY26, with Sojern's properties business (\~45% of its revenue) as the beachhead. The combined platform removes the discounting that existed when Adara and Sojern competed, supporting pricing.
- APMEA GTM expansion - The APMEA team grew from \~15 to \~85 people during FY26, with Q1 FY27 a record quarter for new business in Asia-Pacific. This is the designated priority growth engine with the strongest pipeline, and the model is set to replicate in Europe next.
- RG Pay embedded payments - RG Pay launched March 2026 with Juspay, Razorpay, Easebuzz and Cashfree live, plus BoxPay's 350+ payment methods and over $2.5Bn processed through its platform. It claims 15% revenue uplift and 2-4% less revenue leakage for hotels, adding a transaction-based revenue stream to the UNO stack.
- FIFA World Cup 2026 data showcase - The Market Pulse dashboard, built on Sojern's travel intent data across 16 host cities, drove USD 2.5 mn of campaign revenue in Q1 FY27 and 78 dedicated articles since March alone, including New York Times and Reuters coverage. This builds the brand as the travel-intent data leader ahead of the 2027 M&A event management has flagged.
- AI Concierge commercial traction - AI Concierge, deployed across Red Roof's 700+ properties, delivers up to 300% ancillary revenue uplift and 80% automation of guest queries, and is integrating into the UNO platform. This is a proven, deployable product for the 14,000-customer base, with no incremental R&D needed.
- FY27 guidance beat potential - Management guides FY27 revenue of INR 3,000-3,100 cr (65-70% growth) and EBITDA of INR 650-700 cr, and has stated the INR 3,100 cr figure "should definitely be beaten". Organic growth is expected at the higher end of the 15-20% range given the pipeline, with Q1 already delivering 17.5% organic growth.
