- API expansion strategy: RPG Life Sciences carved out its API business into RPG Active Pharma, partnered with InvAscent to establish a ₹700 crore committed pool, and spent ₹215 crore on acquisitions including Actis Generics and Raghava. This increased manufacturing capacity from 110 kl to 505 kl, with plans to deploy an additional ₹500 to ₹700 crore over the next 12 months.
- Long-term revenue targets: The company is targeting ₹2,500 crore in total revenue by 2030, supported by domestic formulations growing from ₹700 crore to ₹1,200 crore, API revenues reaching ₹500 to ₹700 crore, and the remainder driven by international formulations. EBITDA margins are expected to remain in the mid-to-high 20s.
- Capacity utilization outlook: Current utilization stands at 60% at Navi Mumbai, nearly 100% at Actis, and 20% at Raghava. Scaling Raghava's capacity utilization to 70–80% is projected to generate ₹200 crore in standalone revenue, bringing overall plant utilization across all three sites to 75–80%.
- Product pipeline additions: The portfolio is focusing on niche, complex molecules like rivaroxaban and apixaban, along with the launch of US FDA- and Indian DCGI-approved Naproxen ES under a one-year exclusivity. The company is also launching a GLP-1 obesity drug in October, targeting a 5% market share in an estimated ₹4,000 crore domestic opportunity.
- Global market expansion: International formulations account for 15% of total business across 60+ countries, with 10% from developed markets and 5% from emerging markets. Geographic expansion includes entering the seven ZASIBONA African countries, Saudi Arabia, Latin America, and commercializing OTC Naproxen via Walmart in Canada by February 2027.
