- Balance sheet reset: The company absorbed an ₹8,100 crore loss against ₹8,500–₹8,800 crore of capital infused by IHC to build buffers and bring gross and net NPAs to zero across a ₹53,000 crore AUM. Management expects ₹7,000–₹8,000 crore in net recoveries from legacy assets over the next few years.
- Growth and capital: Sammaan Capital targets disbursements of ₹30,000 crore this year and ₹50,000 crore next year, aiming to scale total AUM to ₹2 lakh crore. An incoming ₹3,200 crore from warrant conversions over 18 months will support a 26%–29% capital adequacy ratio, eliminating the need for further equity dilution.
- Product diversification: Mortgages are planned to decrease from 90% of the portfolio in FY27 to approximately 50% from FY29 onwards. The company is actively building distribution for secured gold loans alongside unsecured business and personal loans to drive future disbursements.
- Cost and productivity: Following a rating upgrade to AA+, the company expects its incremental borrowing costs to drop by 160 basis points. Additionally, it has deployed 37 AI use cases in partnership with IHC to boost employee productivity by up to 30% and halve its cost-to-income ratio by FY30.
