Synergy Green Industries Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report

as of Aug 2026

  1. Foundry capacity expansion - Foundry capacity is up from \~30,000 to \~44,000 TPA, with the new line already producing and July utilization at \~85%. FY27 gross production is projected at \~36,000 MT against \~44,000 MT capacity, an 80% utilization rate - roughly 30% more tonnes through the same fixed-cost base.
  2. In-house machining backward integration - Phase 1 of the 20,000 TPA machining and coating plant is operational, with 50% capacity utilization achieved and Vestas and Senvion approvals in hand. Machining was 100% outsourced at 12-14% of cost; doing half in-house adds \~5-6% contribution, with management guiding a minimum 3% EBITDA expansion.
  3. Captive solar and wind power - The 10 MW captive solar plant has been operational since October 2025, covering \~40% of electricity for 15,000 tons of production, and a 5 MW wind PPA is signed. Solar alone saves ₹10 crore annually in power costs and management expects a minimum 2% EBITDA expansion.
  4. Vestas 4 MW platform transition - A contract for the 4 MW platform (replacing the phasing-out 3 MW) was signed mid-May, with samples expected in Q4 FY27 and full production in Q1 FY28. Vestas orders were ₹163.74 crore in FY26, and the 4 MW transition keeps that revenue base intact while the older platforms wind down.
  5. Nordex 5 MW platform and US exports - Proto-operational clearance for the 5 MW platform was received in Q1, with serial production started for US market parts. This includes India's largest wind turbine casting at 29.5 MT, and with the tariff barrier gone, management expects good export volume.
  6. Envision serial supply - Proto development for Envision's 3.3 MW platform is complete with go-ahead for serial supply in FY27; Envision is building \~1,400 turbines needing 50-60,000 tonnes, with Synergy expecting at least 10,000 tonnes. This is a new OEM from a zero base, and Envision currently imports 100% from China.
  7. Adani 3.3 MW platform ramp - The 3.3 MW platform has approvals done and is in serial production, with bearing housing supplies already giving \~₹20 crore business. Management expects ₹60-80 crore total revenue from Adani once the 3.3 MW platform ramps.
  8. Non-wind segment expansion - Non-wind customers now include Terex, L&T, and Mahindra, with the segment contributing \~30% of revenue alongside gearbox; non-wind revenue was ₹38 crore in FY26. Non-wind orders carry slightly better margins than wind, and management's aspiration is a 50-50 wind/non-wind mix.
  9. Power sector castings - L&T development has started and BHEL has given facility approval, with both sitting on huge order backlogs after the government cleared 80,000 MW of conventional power. Management expects ₹20-25 crore annual business from L&T alone, materializing in H2 FY27 after \~6 months of development.
  10. Next greenfield expansion - Land acquisition for the next capacity step (to 100,000+ tons) is targeted by end of FY27, with project initiation in Q3 FY28 and a 15-18 month build timeline. The medium-term roadmap shows 75,000 MT by FY28-29 and 100,000 MT by FY29-30, with estimated capex of \~₹400 crore.
